Mal Instone
Malcolm Instone joined the Royal Navy in 1997. After training at Britania Royal Naval College and at sea in HMS YORK he joined HMS SANDOWN as the Navigating Officer in 1999. He then spent one year in HMS SOUTHAMPTON before rejoining as the Navigating Officer in 2002.
Following two challenging years as Head of Navigation at the Royal Naval College, in September 2006 he successfully completed the Specialist Navigation Course, the Royal Navy’s premier Navigation course.
